"You should oppose people who say: "The Qur'an makes it clear – if someone defames the prophet, then he must die."

No, I shouldn't. It says what it said when it was written. So does the Torah. This Torah portion is read once a year by every Jewish congregation in the world. Odds are good that at least one of the readers is gay. Odds are better you won't oppose the Torah, cuz then you'd have to give the 10 Commandments back.

“If a man lies with a male as one lies with a woman, the two of them have done an abhorrent thing; they shall be put to death—their bloodguilt is upon them” (Leviticus 20:13).

I oppose people who would like to re-write the Books in order to pretend bad things aren't included. I also oppose people who take them literally in the 21st century by actually trying to kill defamers. If The Cat Man do, I'll throw his records in the garbage.
