Didn't mean for it to be a PM. My uncle's sister, who, by some coincidence is my grandmother, is also in that book. She made herself unpopular with many of her chicken-ranching peers by heading down to SF for nursing school, while her hubby tended the ranch, and Mom stayed with with the aunt and uncle on their ranch. books.google.com

When I first visited them, the picture on the wall was of FDR, and he owned the feed mill.
