US, Cuba to meet next week on reopening embassies

HAVANA (AFP) - The United States and Cuba will hold a new meeting next week in Washington on reopening embassies, the latest step in their historic rapprochement, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said Wednesday.

"Next week there will be a new round of negotiations in Washington on reestablishing diplomatic relations and opening embassies," he told AFP in an exclusive interview.
