America's Class Segregation Problem In 4 Charts First of all, there is a significant and important difference between segregation based on income and segregation based on discrimination. That difference is pretty obvious, but if you need further explanation let me know. Secondly, income mobility in the US is one of the myths promoted by Rs and comes out of their American exceptionalism meme. Many of us have known better for a long time.
