Good to hear from you and congratulations.

Well if we followed the rules one stock was sold for break even other for about 25% gain. How can we have triple digit gains or long term capital gains?

PANW listed at 73.5; bought at 75; gained over 10%; stop raised to near break even; stop taken out.

SKWS listed 41; broke the support on high volume; sold for 26% gain.

We could hold only if we ignore the “simple rules”. Where I am I lost?

I'm concentrating mostly on the companies with revenues and earnings. I've had some gains in a few of the biotech stocks but gave back a lot of profits when the biotech market sold off and didn't make any money in a few others.

I can't stomach the big drops when it appears the move is a result of what's happening in the biotech market and not at the company. I have a better understanding of the businesses of companies with revenues and earnings and much happier with buying and holding onto them.

Any thoughts?
