Bentway, Are you the 'token Asian'? If you haven't noticed, Asian males are never the beneficiary of affirmative action. In fact, they are often the ones most screwed over by said programs. Whenever you see people talking about increasing minority representation in Silicon Valley, they often aren't talking about guys like Albert Yu or Jerry Yang or Vinod Dham. They're talking about Marissa Meyer, or Ellen Pao, or even Hector Ruiz. So no, I'm not the "token Asian" because there is no such thing, at least not in my industry. But you knew that, didn't you?
