They're now involving the FBI because they found a dent of sorts in that part of the engine housing the controls leaving open the possibility that someone may have fired on the train and damaged or destroyed the speed controls.
Wow.

That reminds me of a true story I was told.

A friend of mine worked in Baltimore.

She was wondering why the glass in the windows looked so strange and why they were always kept closed.

But one day it was hot but not enough for AC and she found out about the windows - after she opened one and soon after a few bullets decorated the wall.

Bulletproof glass. Keep the windows closed.

I wouldn't mention the place that she worked except to say it is a prestigious institution that almost everyone knows about.
