Bank of America could have more impact than the University of Washington, still its not going to mean much.

Pollution laws, improvements in other forms of electricity generation, etc. should slowly reduce the use of coal (certainly as a percentage, but also likely in absolute terms).

Refusal of some schools or banks to buy coal mining stocks, not so much.
