3 maples 300+ others, not counting acorns, buckeye, black walnut, and bay seeds, and willow shoots. Even guerrilla -planted 3 redwoods behind the Grange. Haven't planted anything the last 2 years because of drought.

Worried about your own hypocrisy? Maples don't do well here. Every piece of property I have owned has had plenty of trees on it. One was 2 acres of mixed trees, but mainly 40-90 foot loblolly pines. My current residence is a townhome with a tiny yard. Still, I have enough trees on it so that there is very little grass because of the shading. Mainly a narrow strip at the sidewalk. Want to try again?

My question is a simple one. How many Maple trees or any trees have you planted? IMO if you are not heavily involved in the planting of trees and maintaining forests by re planting you are a bald faced hypocrite. I have planted nearly a 100 urban trees. Thank you very much.
