I just don't care what they do with their money.

The problem is they're looking to the federal government to pay for half of it. And you know it is going to end up costing a quarter trillion if it is a nickel.

This thing never gets finished. It'll be like the SSC; gets 10 or 20% done and the project is cancelled for lack of money. Another idiotic waste of taxpayer dollars. But that needs to be California taxpayers, not US taxpayers.
