Republicans Are Losing In The Cycle Of Life, Exiting At One End But Not Replenishing At The Other

reverbpress.com

ADIOS DINOSAURS..IT WON'T BE LONG NOW

Republicans are old. And white. And probably wrinkly on top of it. But wrinkles aren’t the party’s problem — at least, not by themselves.

Old people die. They certainly die at a faster rate than young people. That knocks off quite a few Republicans from one election to another.

The numbers of young people, on the other hand, are expanding. Young people become Democrats in larger numbers than they become Republicans.

America’s minority population is also growing. Non-white Hispanics are giving birth more rapidly than they are dying. For the white population, the reverse is true. Minorities also become Democrats at a greater rate than they become Republicans.

See the problem? The Republican problem, that is. No one else is all that sorry to see the GOP’s numbers dwindle.
