ABX looks like it's recovering.
I'm looking to get back in...

Maybe I'm wrong?
I'd like to see it go over the open first...

Tommaso: Shorting is always risky. I would never suggest that a person enter into a short, just for the sake of shorting. But if you do believe that markets move in technical ways, than there are technical ways to play a stock. Consider the following:

Suppose I believe that ABX may hit $22 CDN I can do any of the following:

1) Short the stock {upside risk}
2) Buy PUTS {risk only investment}
3) Buy CALLS, and short {risk is determinable}

Often a person can buy for the long, have it run in the short term, and than use the profits as a hedge against the short. But as always,
Consult your financial advisor

But you are correct, shorting can be risky.
