Chicago: 42 People Shot This Weekend Including A Great-Grandma, 81, Shot Moments After Attending Daughter’s Wake The people that were shot and killed were black. Their predecessors were part of the great influx of very desperately poor blacks into Chicago before and after WWII looking for jobs. Where were they from: the South. Why were they so poor: conservative politics and discrimination. And way too many southern blacks are poor today thanks to ongoing conservative BS and their discrimination. What happened to those blacks after they got to Chicago makes Chicago culpable but what was originally at the root of the problem: conservative politics and racism. At the root of most the problems facing this nation, you will find a conservative espousing BS. When are you all going to stop being a problem?
