Good point. I had 3 kids with me one night taking them home from a scout-type meeting going 45 and a large stone hit the back fixed window, it was like an explosion in the car.

But I did see reports suggesting that - as John says - such attacks are not so uncommon. Could be stupid kids
In the late 70's I worked with a guy who had a Saturday job as Engineer on a freight train. He said rocks thrown from overpasses were common. One time he hit a cinder block hung from an overpass that came through the window of the cab. I doubt that things have gotten better since then.
