>> For example the $15 people have been pushing lately (or the $21/hour that had a weaker push earlier). Such wages would price many people out of jobs.

It seems a great number of people either do not understand or do not care. I had this argument with a friend via email today and he's a smart guy but just couldn't grasp that some people aren't capable of producing $15/hour in work, and those people are going to be out of jobs. I asked, "What do you tell this person who lost his job so that others could make $15/hour instead of $12.50/hour?"

His answer was, "I'd tell him to find a job making $15/hour."

Well, there you go. Problem solved.

How would it push people out of jobs?

Who or what would replace the people who are "pushed out" of their jobs??? The employer would simply stop producing as much? Sounds like poor business practice to me..........
