GM **OT** Re: I did sell some tech stocks, though.

You mean you weren't out there buying? Where is your sense of adventure?<G>

ReBut even though my portfolio is now lower than Oct 27/28
I'm strangely calm

I too, am calm for the most part. In July/August, I was upset when AMAT & LRCX and others in my portfolio were rising so fast. People have the impression that a sudden rise is the greatest feeling in the world. To be quite honest, it made me somewhat queasy and I should have read the signals and sold. Now that we're down here though, what is the real risk? Believe it or not, I probably feel better now than in August simply because I am not worried about losing everything-it's already gone<Sob!> People cannot understand when I tell them this, but a stock which is up 300-400% in one year makes one uneasy, not ecstatic. You now have 400% more to lose and so IMO your worry increases proportionally.

Regards,

Brian
