it's easier to ride the downturn. I keep telling
myself that losing some potential gains is better
than losing principal. I hope this lesson sticks.<

But it is not dull--the closest emotional experience is sking mogels in Colorado. Don't we get a emotional rush.:) I tell my wife that after two more amat splits and run ups I will slow down in my investing but I really injoy the hobby of investing. I probably will reduce my risk threshold an take less risk.
