A Warmer World Is A Healthier World, So Expel Some CO2

Those who continually warn us about the problems that surely will be caused by global warming and want to "fight" it (has there ever been a sillier, more trite phrase than "fight global warming"?) need to slow down and take a look at a study in the Lancet that says " cold weather kills 20 times as many people as hot weather."

Maybe we should all be wishing for global warming — it's clear that the political left wants it to be warmer — and spewing out as much carbon dioxide as we are able. Perhaps with the right kind of climate management we can grow fine wine grapes again in England and set up (organic, of course) farms in Greenland that produce warm-weather crops.

But that's not going to work. Man's contribution to CO2 in the atmosphere is rather puny. Even should we double it, we're still far behind the natural sources of carbon dioxide production. If we're going to warm the planet, we're going to have to try harder. Much harder.
