It's not uncommon for warrants to be extended, but there's no guarantee of it, either. People have to make their decisions weighing the possibility that they might be extended.

Yes, they are a high risk investment, but they are also an investment in a particular company. And the company has the power to extend them, which is not the case of options, for example.

It would be a sign of good faith to investors if they did extend them. Personally, since I know they can, if they don't, I'll be less likely to keep my stock position in the company. I have stock as well as options, and bought more stock recently. I could have bought more stock today, (AIM, a method I use for long term investments, wanted me to buy a bunch more today), but I held off. I will not buy more JMAR stock till I see if the options will be extended or not.
