With SOX unable again to break the 262 level, any short-term upside looks limited to me. CYMI is a "pure play" stock - it will outperform the sector once the trend turns positive, but for now it is falling somewhat behind larger companies. CYMI/AMAT price ratio has drifted down a bit.

Overall though, not a bad day so far...

My thoughts on MU and other semis/semi equips:

While MU is having hard time battering against falling DRAM price, but investors are looking forward - beyond the current difficulty. S. Korea's dumping was the major problem before. Now with S. Korea under IMF scrutiny, their irresponsible pricing policy might change somehow in the future. This would be great news for the whole sector, and semi equip as well. I know how this thread feel about analyst. However, I for one feel Goldman's upgrade of MU might actually have some merit behind.

Coped with good SOX performance today, the semis and semi equipment might see a turn aroundsoon - but it's way to early to tell.

Good luck, everybody. Stick to Cymi can't lose more than several us who choose to play with Depo ! Cymi is a regitimate investment choice.
