Aaron- Yes, i was aware it is an extension. Hucom is a major player in Fibre Channel in Japan, and has increased its FC related staff of engineers significantly this year. They also rep two FC switch vendors [Ancor Communications, and Arcxel], and a leading FC adapter vendor [Emulex]. Japan is regarded, by some observers anyway, as a significant opportunity for FC suppliers . Here is a link to an article re CPCI with some analyst comments.
