I was planting a few dozen seedlings at a time, but not every year. Then I schlep water to them for a few years. Haven't planted any the last few years because of drought. The year before that, little critters looking for moisture killed all I planted that year, except the redwoods I planted behind the Grange.

Not hardly; takes a global village of tree planters to save a livable biosphere. Earth will still be here, just warmer.
