Hi Carolyn, A person I correspond with who also follows MLOG listened in on the conference call. After the call he also spoke with company management. Here's what he has to say: ****** MLOG is very upbeat about their business prospects. Here are some of the highlights: -Voice processing sales up strong in 1997. Broken down by division Government up 10%, International up 88%, Commercial up 100%. Old Dominion systems up 30%. -Cash on hand doubled from 2 mil to 4 mil, no debt. -The president intimated about a new government contract, 2 new international contracts, and a new pharmacy contract with a chain in the northeast. They expect to announce all four in January. -Questions were asked by analysts with First Albany Corp, and Ladenburg Thalmann. ********* I also spoke with company management. I told them one of the problems their having with their stock's performance is that their analysts do not publicize their recommendations or earnings upgrades. If you go to First Call, you can see that they keep increasing earnings estimates, but you wouldn't know it from looking at Yahoo Finance. Hopefully they will persuade the analysts to publicize their opinions on MLOG. (but don't hold your breath) Hope this helps you get over the stocks lackluster performance. Regards, Chris
