robert, << msg to charlie, robins lining up >>

Sorry to butt in. No buy for me today. It would have been an
emotional buy. NO way. If I don't buy before 1 Jan, I won't buy
before qtr1 earnings in Apr. NOW watch me eat my words. :-)
Larry

Bob:

Robin #2 arrived on Friday. Still not a flock.

I'm very skeptical of any rumored sale of DRAM, less so of DMD. With what folks like Rambus are doing with enhancing speed/functionality of memory, my guess is that TXN would want to be there as well. And selling DRAM biz after prices are down 96% in two years makes no sense at all. Wait for the 18 month period of "blinding profitablity" (as I call it) to unload rather than now in the depths of the pain. They've still got a ton of cash left from the defense sale, so be patient. Thus far Engibous has demonstrated great decisiveness and energy. On this one (DRAM) it seems to me he needs to sit tight.

Best Regards,

Charlie
