I think that someone could offer a $300-400 computer together with fast CPU, CD-Rom - for games and 56K modem for internet acces with TV out and a small harddrive.

This would indeed start to get into the territory of Nintendo, Sega, Playstation plus with all the other PC educational and other benefits.

Optional items like low cost video conferencing could make a killer product.

NSM is heading this way I believe.

I suspect we will see such machines in 99 in volume not 98.
