This is the weekly look at the SOXM stocks and major indices in terms of percent change. The semis are up "big time" this week while the other major indices are in the red. The possible merger news of AVGO and BRCM did the trick.

Hi Don, What a ride of a life time. I had sold out early by November of 1999. Admittedly I find it very hard to short anything. I had shorted Amat almost perfectly and covered it after a point or two as it just made me nervous. I must learn to view shorting as a long term play at tops as they imevitably become very profitable. Perhaps now with more experience it will be somnething I can master. I get nervous for RtS everytime he shorts Klic. LOL Great chart and a good reminder - Thanks Bob
