Well, Well, I see William Lerach is still in the business of suing companies. This guy has an office with a massive computer system that monitors company stocks. Any time a company's shares experience a sharp and unexpected drop, he files a "class action" lawsuit. Most companies settle with him, and shareholders only lose. Thus far, HP is one of the only ones tough enough to stand up to him. They refused to settle, and he backed down. If Oracle can recover some of the loss, then he will not have a case. Otherwise, they will probably settle for $8-15M.

This guy lives off of tech stocks with their wild swings.

Sigh. I hope Sumurai Ellison will fight tooth to nail against Lerach & Co. The trial lawyers' beat goes on. This is really depressing. Shame on those "shareholders" who join the strike suit.
