No just cautionary investors. I have worked very hard to grow my accounts and don't want to lose 20 or 30% to a major down draft. I have always looked for high reward stocks with some risk attached and lived with the thought of no risk, limited reward. I know many people that are nearing retirement that are not willing to put their future at risk. I have gotten several calls from investors lately that are selling out of their mutual funds and I believe that we will see a sell off of them. Will we follow China into even higher price earnings. Dont know but the closer we get to a new market top the closer we get to a higher risk market of stocks. Over the long haul it is true market timing doesn't work, but I like sleeping at night. I have had over forty five years of great investing in a mostly up market with a few downturns. The future is uncertain and I don't have another twenty years to re focus my efforts if the Dow loses 500 points in a week. Capital preservation is your friend my friends.

Just to poke you Paul. And no, this doesn't affect my security selection one bit.
