There are not many stocks at present that are worth buying IMHO. We have historically high P/E 's and many other bench marks. What I don't understand is how people can compare a company like Costco which has had huge growth to some of the stocks they hold today. These companies are never going to experience the earnings growth that Costco or a Chipotle Grill have. I am afraid that those days are gone with a few exceptions perhaps. Inflation is killing our country with food costs, housing and the like exploding upward. People that use all of their income to live month to month will never have extra money to invest.

You may make some return on your investment holding one hundred stocks in your account for example, but those that have done exceptionally well have known when to buy and when to sell a handful of stocks at a time. I can only use my own experience as my guide and I wouldn't change but a few poor decisions I have made. To each their own but my money is on a downturn. I will sleep well at night and know that I have little at risk.
