How many Americans died in WWII? How many Russians?

They had the most of their own killed, partially due to stupidity, but also because Stalin wanted to bring 'a personal' (= Russian citizen) sacrifice to history and his after war legacy - at any price.

Easy enough, since innocent citizens of The Soviet Union had to bring in all of the substance for that.

Just read the stories about how the Soviet lines were held up against the Germans in Berlin and Stalingrad by their own officers keeping a gun at the solider's back ready to kill just in case they would get the idea of not jumping right into the enemy constant fire.

Stalin and his Russian citizen cattle, a great hero indeed, your hero, your man to win WWII.
