Then there is the New Silk Road. yaleglobal.yale.edu Didn't know about this concept. It sounds fascinating. However, I am not one of those who think China is invincible. I think its form of gov't and the way it spends will undermine some of the progress its making and could hurt it long term. However, its clear China and other countries are moving ahead in areas that the US is falling behind. And it's also apparent that the GOP is becoming a major roadblock to progress in this country. The way Rs think is doing significant damage to the progress and image of this country. Their concept of spending, taxation and fear of innovation has become too radicalized, and unfortunately, too many Americans still believe the GOP has its shit together. I don't know how to counteract that bad thinking.
