Kind of reminds me recently when QNTM was at 30 - everyone was thinking it was going to be an easy ride back to 35. Then some trader decided to short the stock with a transaction value of $3 million. That was about a month ago - QNTM now at $19.

We'll see.

RON:

Do not place too much credence on the 100,000 purchase. I personally have made more than one such purchase of BAY in the last twelve months. I did not know anything special. I was badly wrong on the timing. In fact I lost a great deal of money on my first purchase. I made some of it back when the stock tanked, I had sold near the bottom because of margin problems but bought more than 100,000 again.

If you look at the Dr. House purchase of 100,000 shares earlier this year, he paid about 21.75. He, exulted when it went to 41 plus and bought again in the 30's. He is now just a point or two above what he paid for the original purchase.

It may or may not comfort you to know that I am long BAY again, but also nervous about the volitility until earnings. I am confident of earnings and will feel cheated if they do not meet, and slightly cheated if they do not surprise on the upside.
