Not inconvenient. Boomers are retiring, shockingly.

CJ, here's a fact that you and Ted might find to be rather inconvenient.

The workforce participation rate is 62.8% this year, give or take a few tenths of a percentage point.

That is the lowest level since 1976.

So what? In 1976 the boomers were just starting to enter the labor force........now they are leaving. Like I said to Tim, if the right's thesis was correct.........that people have left the labor force because they can't get jobs.........then as the unemployment rate drops below 5.5%, people would reenter the labor force. In fact, that is not happening to any great extent. Metro areas whose unemployment rate has dropped below 5.5% have seen no sudden surge in labor force numbers. Instead, their unemployment rate keeps dropping.

And where is your outrage with these posters that you expressed to me a couple of weeks ago:

These asswipes are talking about the POTUS and yet you say nothing........however you had no problem getting outraged when I made disparaging remarks about one of your presidential candidates. It seems your faux outrage is rather selective.
