Thanks, I haven't tried to migrate to the SSDs yet, but good to know that it's a little different than it is just coping one hard drive to another. Also have Acronis, so hopefully all will go well.

  • Standard HDD image restored to SSD: Successful
  • Notes: Did Not Copy Disk Signature

  • Dual-Boot Win7-64 Home Premium / XP Pro-SP2
  • Win7-64 Home Premium: Boot Succesful
  • XP Pro-SP2: Boot Successful
XP Details
  • XP service pack2 adequate for GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3 (rev. 6.0)
    Caution this board has graphic problems and needs a separate video card.
  • XP service pack3 required for higher end motherboards
  • XP service pack3 may still not be adequate for some motherboards today
Surprise
  • Win7-64 Ultimate could not initialize SSD, Instead Used Acronis Disk Director 2010
Summary
