It stepped in long ago, when everybody else, including churches and charities, said, "Someone has to do something." "They never take personal responsibility to fix any of this. " They shouldn't have to. Doesn't say "I the person". Does say "promote the general Welfare". We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, [note 1] promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

That's why liberalism will always fail to solve the problem of poverty and homelessness. They never take personal responsibility to fix any of this. My libtard friend took the personal responsibility to adopt two very young Korean orphans. They are now 31 and 28.........under educated........with low paying part time jobs......still living at home.........and with no ambition to leave...........and neither unabashed libtard parent will admit to a problem in their upbringing........a problem?.........NO PROBLEM!.
