Gold is inching lower this evening, maybe lower for stocks tomorrow, too... That will very interesting.. I'm still trying to get a grip on the market correlation between the USD and the SPX. One would think that the realization that a strong dollar is crushing large cap profits would be taking hold and that should be bearish for the primary stock indices. But there is also that "flight to quality" aspect.. Buy USD and invest them in anything that is denominated in USD, like stocks.. A lower Gold price suggests that deflationary pressures are rising..
