The amazing thing about this story is that it was ever reported. The local lady reporter had it right when she said that a story like this may make robbers think twice before they try to rob someone by threatening thier life. thegatewaypundit.com! People who do not carry and seek to disarm thier fellow citizens do not realize how they are helped by concealed carry. The robbers do not know who does and who does not carry a firearm. So they think twice. The reality that the next person you intend to rob may pull a gun and kill you may be just enough to save a libs life. No one is against concealed carry and the disarming of citizens more than criminals. As long as we have a large population of criminals without any respect for the law or life we need to support arming law abiding citizens to the teeth. The United States is unique in the industrialized world. No other country has the history and population makeup that we do. Most of the crime and gun violence in the US is committed by one minority group of Americans. As long as this is the reality in the US there is a need to arm the law abiding citizens. If this is not done the law abiding citizens are left to become unarmed victims of crime. IMO self defense is a right of all human beings. American citizens have a right to LIFE, LIBERTY AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS as do all men . This is not a right granted by the US Government but is an endowment from our Creator. The founders of this great country recognized that fact. The Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, The Constitution itself were written recognizing that fact and are aimed at keeping the government from interfering with the free exercise of those basic unalienable Rights. When was the last time you read the Declaration of Independence or studied the Constitution? It is the first duty of every patriot to protect his country from its government.
