How many EIDE test results did you see? There is a person also report the PP SparQ can do 2MB/sec DTR real life!!! Will you just believe this kind of informal test??? If you believe the EIDE #, you better also believe the excellent 2Mb/s PP #. Well, IEEE1284 is capable to handle max 2MB/s but will SparQ able to utilize 100% possible speed, not to mention there is OS overhead involved.
