Regarding ORCL, there was a great post IMO on the Novell thread by Dr. Salah Mohamed which is a must read by enybody on this thread interested in Oracle. The poster claims that there are similarities between Oracle now and Novell as it started feeling the pinch from Microsoft. He was right, so far, as we watch the stock price of ORCL dwindle. I do not dismiss the idea that the misfortune of Oracle has contributed to BORL's decline recently as I don't buy the view that what is happening is a delayed reaction to the acquisition announcement. The market usually over-react and rarely delay in doing so. The more people think about the acquisition the more they realise that it is a good step by Borland and timely too. Ghassan. P.S. today was the first day of lately that BORL has closed on an uptick. The recovery may start on Monday as I explained in my previous post. Go BORL... Ghassan.
