W.O. I'm down about 20% from my high, so it's not a disaster.
There are some folks who would be pleased to be down only 20% from the highs! The IRA accounts don't seem to bother me as much as our other accounts... it's more like playing a game in those. But my personal Schwab One account -- now that is gold!
Basically sticking in the market seems the best approach for most people most of the time.. And I don't do as much trading overall as it sounds like on this Thread. But the Asian situation seemed to offer a major chance to preserve cash, then put it back to work.
Actually, I'm dubious that the downside to this market has been seen for sure. I'm going to get back to 60-70% invested at some point, expecting to pick up bargains in the spring. How about you? TSO
