What you say is true. But for me instead of looking at tablet OS on a desktop, I will spend my time on Virtual machine driver that runs on linux where I can run a stable version of borg OS. I do not see using tablets in my future. If I want to read an ebook I find the kindle paperwhite to be excellent. For GPS I use a GPS. For travel I have an I3 win7 and an I7 Win 7 gaming chunk laptop. It has two drives. Upgrading single ssd to dual SSD. Use linux with vm of stable borg or win 7 with vm for some linux. I also drive my 50" tv with an I3 hp laptop. But mostly for viewing netflix and movies and downloaded tv shows. Also good for browser tab of radar with ptypes, mail, calender, TV listings.... I have a wireless keyboard by mostly use mouse with onscreen keyboard. Nice to read I do not see any requirement to a tablet or tablet OS.
