Well, it isn't really a fair comparison, so I think your immediate inclination was correct. I think there are serious impacts as well from the fact Walmart imports a lot of stuff. The macro effects of all that are way over my head.

Yes, that was really the point. I have always believed that our government's problem is that it has become unmanageable even by very capable managers. Throw in the politics and it is just seems like it is hard to come back.

As an example, some years ago Bill Archer became head of House Ways & Means, and for a very long time I had favored a National Sales Tax replacement for the Income tax. Archer was actually interested in it as well; but within a very short time of taking over that chairmanship the discussion was off the table. When he should have had the clout to start examining it, it just fell flat. This is what discourages me -- there is no one in DC who can actually get things done anymore.

I'm just frustrated with it all.
