Jon Stewart to De Blasio: Liberal Policies Have FAILED for 40 Years

06.03.2015 | Jerome Hudson | 0

Jon Stewart interviewed New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and confronted him about the rising crime rates in New York and how progressive policies haven't worked in cities like Baltimore.

The rising number of bodybags, crime statistics, and news paper headlines all indicate that crime in and around New York City skyrocketed after the stop-and-frisk program was terminated.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio ran his campaign promising to end the police profiling policy that managed to cut crime rates dramatically.

Now it’s a painful reality that after de Blasio got rid of stop-and-frisk, crime levels increased. De Blasio was confronted about that fact by none other than fellow proud progressive loon Jon Stewart.

“Shootings in New York City have risen over these past few years and are now 20 percent higher than what they were since the stopping of stop-and-frisk,” Stewart said on The Daily Show.

“You can’t break the law to enforce the law,” De Blasio said suggesting that stop-and-frisk was unconstitutional and that enacting more gun control laws will solve the growing problem of crime in New York City.

Later on Stewart put forth that guns flowing in from Florida are to blame for New York City’s two-year-long crime spree. “Why are we not down in Florida, South Carolina, Georgia where these guns are coming from and stopping and frisking gun stores?” Stewart asked. “Why do we have to wait and somehow put it all on communities when the truth is that there’s a gun-running operation that is going on from the South that everybody knows about but nobody will in any way address?”

Florida is responsible for New York City’s rise in violence? Give me a break.

Later in the interview Stewart said the high amounts of poverty and crime in America’s inner cities are subjects of “a conversation we could’ve been having about Baltimore 40 years ago.”

“Liberal policies, Democratic policies have been in place in those areas and. . .” have failed, Stewart almost said not knowing how to continue with the realization that his own ideology is a failure.

Joseph's socialism created a country in which the average native had enuf household wealth that looting and stealing from them was a very profitable endeavor.
