You don't get it.. Obama wrote the agreement which Bush had negotiated for our total withdrawal, which Obama honored. He did that cuz he knew Bush would never say, "Obama actually wrote that for me."

You say Bush wouldn't have done that, honored his OWN agreement - show me where HE says that They were well protected and American soldiers have long served in that roll in places around the world. There is going to be a world superpower. I'd rather it be the United States than some other country.

Except that no American wanted us there, no way in HELL with our soldiers as targets for 10 or 20 more years I did and would have significant forces in both Iraq and Afghanistan. We've had forces in Germany and Japan for 70 years. Do you think Iran would be acting this way if we had 100,000 troops just across the borders?
