I think the strange thing about those forecasts relative to history is their stability - ie, they're forecasting about 3% growth three years in a row. Historically I think semi have had a lot more volatility, like up 10%, down 8%, up 17% would be more typical.

Also, the interesting thing would be to compare how previous years' 3 year forecasts compares to what eventually actually happened? In other words, were the forecasts even remotely close to what eventually transpired?
