Ten, my argument for limiting voting to white, middle-age landowners is not a new one. The founding fathers argued over the very same issues and many, including Jefferson, argued that voters should have some skin in the game by virtue of owning land. Oh, they also said you should be white and over 21. No way shouted the Federalists...that's not how a democracy works and besides there aren't really that many landowners. So by the time the 1800 election rolled around the populists carried the day and it's been downhill ever since.
