Sure, there will be a lot of Demonrats who would qualify. There would also be millions upon millions of Demonrats who would not. I also realize that there will be some Republicans who will not.

In 2008, these are how people voted. Left column is Obama, right column is McCain.

Look at the "High school or less" category. It seems pretty even to me.

"Grade school" is heavily favored toward Obama, but that is likely to include high-schoolers who just turned 18 but haven't graduated yet.

As you go up the education ladder, it seems pretty obvious that the higher the degree, the most likely you were to vote for Obama.

This of course feeds into the conceit by liberals that they are smarter and more well-versed in current affairs than everyone else, but I see a different pattern. Democrats tend to take the very high achievers and the very low achievers (i.e. the rich and the poor), while Republicans fare better with the middle-of-the-road crowd.
