its an interesting discussion re: nasdaq listing.
I was interested to hear the PHM Chairman just discussing this very topic the other day and he said how great it had been being on the Venture Exchange so far, compared to the Nasdaq. He said that the exposure they got being on the Venture was way more than they would have got on the Nasdaq - on the Venture you can be a big fish so to speak if you're successful whilst on the Nasdaq you'd just be another name and easily overlooked by the majority of investors. PHM had no trouble getting liquidity into the stock and it always trades a sizeable volume so that's do-able if you have the market know how.

I think DAP will do fine whatever exchange its on. Its more the oddity of it trading with the ".U" extension in Canada rather than anything else I think that may make people miss it.

There is also the cost issue. A while back I spoke with a CFO of a mid cap recently and was told that an American listing would add at least $1 Mil to their annual listing costs. Apparently it has something to do with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

Why not just uplist to the TSX (for now)? Very little additional cost and from what I understand, trading TSX stocks isn't a problem for most Americans. In DAP's case they get the added benefit of the U.
