Its been 150 years since the Civil War ended. The strong sentiments are still alive...I would not have believed it if I had not seen it with my own eyes. Yeah, its rather disturbing. Frankly, I don't think it will get any better. In fact, I think its getting worse. Growing up, the national media would frequently say that things are getting better in the South but it never seems to really happen. I think they southerners] like the way their culture is and don't want to change.
