The greater jeopardy all along has been the Republican propensity to game the elections thru gerrymandering, disenfranchisement, "erroneous" voter elimination (..the Jeb Bush Florida trick for his bro in 2000) and simply fraudulent tabulation with SCOTUS backing.

We have seen all of this every election, since 2000 anyway, in those states in GOP control...and they will no doubt do it again in 2016

The thing is the Rs didn't get control of the Senate by gaming the system. That's what worries me. If you noticed, recently, there was poll showing that GW Bush is more popular than Obama. This is the asswipe who got us embroiled in a mess in Iraq and helped bring on the Great Recession. And his popularity is rising......say what? This country's love affair with all things GOP worries me immensely.
